CCVIP
Learning Lab
CCVIP’s Learning Lab provides independent computer users and current CCVIP students an opportunity to practice and hone their skills. Staff is available to supervise the classroom and provide tutorials and course materials. The Learning Lab is equipped with an array of assistive technology designed to meet students’ needs and preferences. For information call (646) 312-1420.
Schedule: Mondays, 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
For students in particular classes:
MS Access tutoring lab will be on Saturdays, 1:00 - 3:00 pmfrom January 31 to March 7 and Surfing the Internet tutoring lab will be on Saturdays, 1:00-3:00 pm from April 4 to May 9 (except for Easter weekend).
Requirements
For all:
If you have taken and successfully completed classes with us you are eligible.
For New York State Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH) clients
who have not taken classes at CCVIP, your CBVH counselor must refer you to take a hands-on assessment test to determine eligibility.
